London Fog Latte

As much as I love my coffee, I don’t know just how I’ve lasted this far without discovering this particular concoction. I’ve never been a huge fan of Earl Grey tea; call me crazy, but it’s always tasted like stale potpourri. However, something about the sweet and creamy vanilla with an almost floral tint is growing on me.

I found an amazing loose leaf earl grey creme tea to use; I just throw it in a mug to brew, and strain out the tea leaves later.

Brew it hearty, brew it strong.

Warm the milk on the stove or microwave and add a couple drops of vanilla extract.

Then add the warm milk. Divine.

London Fog Latte
1 heaping tsp or 1 tea bag Earl Grey
1 tsp brown sugar
2/3 cup whole milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Brew tea extra strong with boiling water and steep for at least 3 minutes. Meanwhile, heat milk and vanilla in a small saucepan over low heat until steaming but not scalded.

Mix milk, tea, and brown sugar and enjoy!

  1. Just made this today, and I love it. You’re so right about needing to brew the tea strongly. It’s delicious! Thank you, Tia!
